This Texas Modern home, designed as a spec home for a luxury builder client, combines rustic elements like stone, stucco, wood timber headers, and metal roofing with a modern form. A front casita offers a private workspace or guest suite. Inside, an interior stone wall and exposed timber beams maintain the rustic theme. The open concept includes a formal dining area separated by a two-sided modern fireplace, also visible from the living room. A glass-front wine room adorns the dining room. The spacious kitchen integrates a prep area, walk-in pantry, and mud room. A U-shaped staircase leads to the second floor with the owner’s suite, bedrooms, and game room. The suite features a luxurious bath and a well-equipped closet. The second-floor game room has a wet bar, and a bonus third-floor space serves as a media room or office.
