We wanted to do something different with this modern courtyard home on Suffolk. It doesn’t really fit a particular style label, although the clean lines of Scandinavian modern homes were certainly an inspiration. Stucco, brick, standing seam metal roof and a wood privacy accent over the entry combine to make a simple, but sophisticated exterior. On the interior, warm details such as the rustic wood accents and interior brick add material contrast to the otherwise light color palette.
